WELCOME TO HARROGATE FILM SOCIETY

Harrogate Film Society (HFS for short) has been bringing the best in world cinema to Harrogate since at least 1955. We are delighted to screen our films at the Harrogate Odeon, thus providing our audiences with comfort and a full cinematic sound and vision experience.

The society is run entirely by volunteers and has a strong committed core membership, but we are very keen for new members to join us. You will find a warm welcome and a real mix of film fans and enthusiasts.

ACTIVITIES

In addition to our core programme of 15 contemporary films from around the world, we organize occasional film-related events in the local community under the banner of 'Special Events'.

Our most successful event has been Harrogate on Film which has now been seen by over 1000 film fans.

We hope to bring more of these in the future. If you have any ideas, please get in touch with us via email (contact.harrogatefilmsociety@gmail.com) or speak to a committee member at any of our film nights.
