About the Event

Riders of Justice | 2020 | Dir. Anders Thomas Jensen | Denmark | 15 | 116 mins | IMDb 7.5 | Subtitled

Markus, a deployed military man, has to go home to his teenage daughter, Mathilde, when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. It seems to be plain bad luck - but it turns out that it might have been a carefully orchestrated assassination, which his wife ended up being a random casualty of.

Riders Of Justice is salty, violent, transgressive, button-pushing, non-PC and laugh-out-loud funny at times – and when you’re not gasping or laughing, it’s only to wonder at the mind which pulled all of this together.

This event is free for all Harrogate Film Society members.

Guests are welcome and can buy tickets online or at the HFS desk in the Odeon lobby on the night. A small processing fee will be applied to all tickets.  These can be purchased online here or will be available on the door - (contactless payments only please, we are not taking cash this season).

Please note that doors open at 6.30pm but the film will start at 7pm.  All seating is unreserved so grab a seat wherever you like. Parking is free after 6pm for all Odeon cinema-goers but you MUST display a voucher obtained from the Odeon lobby.
