About the Event
Riders of Justice | 2020 | Dir. Anders Thomas Jensen | Denmark | 15 | 116 mins | IMDb 7.5 | Subtitled
Markus, a deployed military man, has to go home to his teenage daughter, Mathilde, when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. It seems to be plain bad luck - but it turns out that it might have been a carefully orchestrated assassination, which his wife ended up being a random casualty of.
Riders Of Justice is salty, violent, transgressive, button-pushing, non-PC and laugh-out-loud funny at times – and when you’re not gasping or laughing, it’s only to wonder at the mind which pulled all of this together.
This event is free for all Harrogate Film Society members. Â
Guests are welcome and can buy tickets online or at the HFS desk in the Odeon lobby on the night. A small processing fee will be applied to all tickets. Â These can be purchased online here or will be available on the door - (contactless payments only please, we are not taking cash this season).
Please note that doors open at 6.30pm but the film will start at 7pm. Â All seating is unreserved so grab a seat wherever you like. Parking is free after 6pm for all Odeon cinema-goers but you MUST display a voucher obtained from the Odeon lobby.
