Dir. Shaka King   |    USA   |   2021   |   IMDb 7.4   |   126 mins
With electrifying, passionate performances from Lakeith Stanfield and Daniel Kaluuya, this double Academy Award winning film shows how, in 1969, 21-year-old Chicago Black Panther leader Fred Hampton was fatally shot at home during an FBI raid.  It is a powerful tale of idealism, human frailty, love, loyalty and betrayal, which helps us link struggles from the past  to understanding the present.
Entry is free for members.
Tickets for non-members cost £6 each (Students 16 -19 £3).  These can be purchased online or will be available from the HFS desk in the lobby from 30 minutes before the film (contactless payments only please, we are not taking cash this season).  A small processing fee will be applied to all tickets.
