About the Event

Part of Harrogate Cenotaph's Centenary Commemoration Event.

MY LIFE AT ST DUNSTAN’S - Terry-Mike Williams. In 1944 my mother, whose sight was already weakened by radar work in the ATS, was blinded by a V1 rocket while on leave in London. Later she was transferred to St Dunstan’s, the home for the service blinded. And it was at St. Dunstan’s (now Blind Veterans UK) that I spent much of my childhood - an extraordinary experience that has affected all my life. This is both her story and mine.

Unreserved seating, so please sit wherever you like. Tickets may be available on the door but places cannot be guaranteed so better to make sure by booking a free ticket here.
