FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is the Covid-19 crisis affecting Harrogate Film Society?

The society had to finish its last season early because of the crisis and has been unable to deliver its usual 14 film programme commencing in September. It is however now able to run a new mini- season of 6 films.

When and where do screenings take place?

The screenings will take place on a Monday evening, starting at 7.30 in the Odeon Cinema Harrogate. Please see our Screenings Page for full details of dates and film titles.

What is the cost of membership?

We are not enrolling new members at the current time. Because of COVID, the Odeon has to operate on  substantially reduced capacity to comply with social distancing arrangements. We have over 160 members currently and sadly can not accept any more. This decision will be kept under review as government guidance evolves.

Can I attend films without becoming a member?

Yes. For this year's mini-season we will start selling tickets to non-members a week before each screening. See our Home Page for more details.

How can I become more involved?

The Committee welcomes involvement from new members, and we are always happy to include interested members in communications, community outreach, and other endeavors. See our Get Involved page for more details.
